    Hey Guys, I Was Wondering If A Wsm Round Is Any Better For Hunting Verus A Normal Caliber Round.

    Good question , except I dont know!! LOL! Maybe try our rifle room and one the gun buffs there can answer it better.

    me either, tim. i haven't a clue. but the rifle room is the spot to learn...

    now, in reality, i think the new short mags are more hype. i like the old calibers. i shoot a 270 mostly, may use a 7mag on moose and bigger, sold my 300 weatherby, and just don't much care for the new calibers. jmho

    I'm not sure if any better is the right word, but I do however own a 270 WSM and seem to use it over my 308 now. The gun has a bark and seems to level the bullet better in my eye's. What I have noticed is that the proper bullet type is very important for the game you plan on hunting....
