Did you ever think of using a .223 Rem? Its a great gun. LOL!

From your choices and not wanting to reload, the .17 Rem would be my pick. It is the easiest to get ammo for. Granted Cooper has ammo for the 17 Mach IV but Remington ammo wold be easier to get. I shoot a .17 Rem and it is a dream for varmints. You can watch the impact in the scope. It does minimal if any damage to the hide on bigger critters. Produces lightning strike instant death.

Some claim the .17 Rem is too affected by the wind. It is very similar to the .222 Remington as far as wind drift. I have used mine to 350 yards on squirrels and ground hogs with great results.

From the cartridges you listed my preferance would be:

    .17 Rem
17M4 - I would stock up on factory ammo.
    .221 Fireball
Hornet is ok. You may get pass throughs.
19 Calhoon - only if I bought a case of ammo.
