Welcome to the forums.
I have tried the Accelerators in 30-06 and .308 Winchester. The best accuracy I could get in 4 different 30-06 guns was about 8" at 100 yards. I would not recommend it for hunting. It is also a pointed bullet, which is only ok to use in a gun with a tube magazine as the first shot or as a 2 shot gun only. You should not put more than one round in the magazine as there is a possibility of the recoil setting off the stored cartridges in the magazine as the pointed bullet tip is resting on the primer of the next cartridge.
I would use 150 gr or 170 gr loads, which ever the gun shoots the best. It will leave a decent hole in the hide, but until you can get a varmint/predator gun, it will work. Just like deer, you have to put the bullet in the vitals. A gut shot is just like a gut shot on anything else.
