I thought about gettin a bore sighter, but I have found that with practice you can get on paper by eyeballing through the bore and then looking in the scope. This of course only works on guns where you have an unobstructed view of the bore through the rear of the action or single shot barrels opened from the action. I place the gun securely on the front and rear rests and remove the bolt and center the target in the bore. Raise your head up and without moving the gun, adjust the scope and/or mount to get the scope centered on the target. My best to date was 2" off. Typically, I can get within 4" of zero.
