    Default reloading ?

I messed up and trimmed a handfull of cases .010 shorter than I wanted to. Will being .010 shorter affect anything? Will it affect pressure or accuracy? Just wondering how critical the case length is?

    Thanks for any info.

A smidge too short is better than a smidge too long. I don't believe .010" too short will have any noticible effect on your pressures or accuracy. So long as you leave your cartridge OAL the same, the bullet will be starting out in the same position in relation to the lands. You'll just have a tad less neck tension. Once fired the cases should be fairly close to the dimension you want them to be.

Thanks for the info. I will leave the O.A.L. the same.

I was hoping that it wouldn't be a problem, just wanted to check.

    This is a good answer.
