    Default anyone know?

    I just purchased a nikon prostaff for my 7mm-08 and I'm having a problem finding the correct size allen wrench size for my scope rings(thought I had every one known to man)anyone know what size they are ?Are they all the same for 1" rings?thankx.

    Nope. Not all the same. Leupolds, I believe, come with star-head screws. What brand of rings are they?? May just be a case of an e-mail to the company to find out what size you've got.

    Every pair of rings I've ever bought (weaver, Leupold) have had any necessary tools with them except for a screwdriver.

    If they're Tasco rings, I think they are metric allen heads, Leupold are torqs, most of the others are usually SAE. I've run into that also.
