    Default Help with fogging scope/binocs

Last year I was hunting in the rain. I tried to keep my stuff covered until I needed them. When a moment occurred where I just about soiled myself from seeing such a big buck, I couldn't find him in my scope because of the condesation/fog. I have tried rain x anti fog wipes (not helpful), glycerin (didn't work).....

    anyone have ideas?

The only thing I can suggest is Parkers Antifog solution. I use it for when it gets very cold in the mornings & the heat from my face use to fog my binoculars. Haven't had a problem since. Also be very careful about using products such as rain x & glycerin on your scopes & binoculars. Your lenses are covered with special coatings to help you see better in low light & some coatings are used to keep out stray light. Using stuff like rain x you could be damaging the scope or binocular lenses by wiping the coatings off.

Try Parkers solution its specifically made for scope & binocular lenses.

I wear glasses and I use a product called "Cat Crap" on my scopes and binos too.
It is a anti fog cream that I picked up at Gander Mtn.
its made by www.ekusa.com. The link below is the direct link to the anti fog product. http://outdoor.ekusa.com/shop/index....ui8rb5b15qkgk5

Have heard a lot of good reviews on "cat crap", but have not personally ever used it.

Loomis, only problem I ever had with fogging was when I had the rifle or bino's pulled up close to or right under my nose where I was exhaling and breathed on it. Found out that's a no-no and didn't do it anymore,,,,no more fogging.
