What is everyones experience/opinion of the Weaver Grand Slam 3.5-10x50. I am looking at buying one for my new pro-hunter. Thanks for any help.

I have the Weaver Grand Slam 3x10x40 on my Remington 700 LSS in .300 RUM. I have been well pleased with this scope. I have fired around 125 rounds through this rifle and the scope has maintained zero with no problems. The adjustments are dead on accurate as well. As far as clarity and light gathering go, I would put this scope up against any costing twice as much. I was hunting one afternoon and right about dark I heard a bunch of deer coming up through the hollow that I was watching. It was so dark that I couldn't hardly make them out with my naked eye. But through my Grand Slam, not only could I make them out but I could tell that all four of them were does. I would recommend this scope to anyone wanting a great quality scope at a reasonable price. Look at Natchez Shooters Supplies, they are running a great sale on Weaver Grand Slams right now.

I have a 6-20 Grand Slam on my 7-STW. It's an excellent piece of glass. The finger adjustable turrets are great and they are pretty much spot-on to 600 yds. (haven't tried it any further yet). I can't see the 3-10 being a disappointment.

I have a 3x10x40 on my Browning hunter 300wsm and love it. Very clear sight picture and takes the recoil well. I am very happy with the combination.
