Question win 270 power point plus????

Has anyone used these on deer, and if so how did they preform for you?? I also was told that as of 08 winchester was no longer going to be loading power point plus, dose anybody know why this would be?? I shot these in 150 gr at the range and my browing Bar loved them ... ps at my local gun shop they are selling them for 14.00 $$ a box ,that was why i thought I would try them, now they are being not loaded in 08

I've used the 130gr (in my .270 Browning BAR) on deer and they are great. I was disappointed when I found out they were going to quit making them. I think they got rid of them so they wouldn't be competing with sales of their new XP3 bullets.

I have used the power point plus rounds in my model 700 in .270, and they grouped well. I killed 3 or 4 deer with them. Went back to shooting core lokts though as the only deer I ever lost with the rifle came with the winchester rounds. Had not heard that they were discontinuing them, but have not seen them in wal mart or other sporting goods stores for a good while.
