    Default Strange Finds

    Shedhunter's spend alot of time in the woods while searching for sheds.We find and see alot more then sheds too.
    What are some strange finds you've found while out?
    During the 2004 shed season I found this dead buck wrapped in cable.There was about 20' of cable around the body and rack.No doubt the cable helped end his time early.

    Anything is possible.The biggest predator around where this was found would be fox.
    I figure he was rubbing and tangled up in the wire and couldn't get it off.

    It's always a shame to see a great buck meet his end like that. It must have been a slow death.

    A couple of years ago, I found 3 and a half arrows during the shedhunting season. The 3 were intact - must have been misses. The half arrow looked to be from a hit.
