I went out to another farmer friends after work & drove his fields.I found 1 spiker.I would stop & walk all the bluffs.In the last bluff I walked I came up with a nice 4x 4 set laying 17 ft apart right in the middle of the bush.Like an idiot I forgot my camera!But I will remember this find for a long,long time.They aren't big but hey,it's May so anything a guy finds is a bonus!I also found a sweet little freshie for Mrs.Sasksheds X-mas tree. I'm not quite done yet either, but I'm getting discouraged. I spent 4 hours on a ranch the other day that was posted "no hunting" and the owner told me I would be the first guy in two years to get permission to set foot on the property. There was deer sign all over the place, but all I found was one fresh four-point antler, and it was back in the bush. I'm guessing I might have been the first guy to ask for permission in two years, but others had definitely been out there.

I'm going to head out today to for one more shed hunt. The ticks are out, so it might be my last shed hunt for the year unless I find a few antlers.
