I was going through some of my old photos (pre-digital camera) and I came across an example of KANSAN's 3-inch rule. I spotted this antler from about 20 yards away. The snow was hiding about 45 inches of this 48-inch 4-point.

I found this in 2004.
When I pulled it out of the snow all I found was the end of a busted off main beam.
