Found a shed this week!

Finally got out of the office for some field work this last week and was fortunate to pick up a medium 4-point whitetail shed. I'm sure it was dropped last winter, but the top side was well faded - bottom showed good color. Funny thing though, I spotted the antler from my truck just 15 feet off the road. Can't believe nobody had seen it. I was taking an evening drive to watch and photograph deer. Saw about 100 deer including 20 or so 4x4 or better whitetails and 4 mature muley bucks. I would love to buy some land in this area (central Montana) - unreal deer country!

Keep looking.....you just never know when a sheds gonna jump out at ya!

Good Job on finding the shed. Yes Montana is awsome deer country. I only went up there for a week, but maybe next season Ill be able to do some antelope hunting and mule deer/whitetail. My grandpa shot a monster Non-Typical Mulie there.

Congrats on the shed!!
I usually quit looking special for sheds by the end of May,but always keep my eyes open for them.One year I found one in the middle of Oct.
