    Default 1st Shed

    Found this one a couple years ago on Christmas eve. A nice gift for X-mas. I think he was a main frame 8 pointer with that drop tine. The drop tine measures in at a little more than 5 inches. What sucks is I waited all summer to see what the buck would look like next fall and I found out. He didn't grow any antlers. All I saw was nubs on his head. I have been watchin this deer for about 4 years so Im know for sure it was him. Any ideas on why he didn't grow any last fall? I hope he survived the winter I haven't seen the ole buck in a long time. I have been able to get really close to this buck before to. A couple times I could have patted him on the head. I guess thats because he is used to seeing me. I saw him almost everyday during the fall and winter months.

    Yeah we were watching the buck from my house window and after he left I went out where he was laying and I found that one. He didn't drop the other one though and I never found it.
