sheds while hunting?We have.Prob about a doz or so.Nothin big though.

I think I've only picked up 3 and left one old chewed up one out in the field. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm deer hunting, not shed hunting.

I have stumbled on about 2 during the fall hunting.

Picked one up the other day.Took it to a friend to have it scored and it went 78 5/8 typical.He said that it's number 3 in the Province .

Not yet, I've been walking around quite a bit, but haven't found any.

Shedhunter,I,m from Nova Scotia.Shed hunting is not a big thing down here as a lot are found and left in the bush because it's just a deer "horn" to most.Our biggest typical shed scores 87 7/8.

My wife & I found one yesterday in a pasture when we were moving stands...... four point side, average. But it was nice to come across!

I found a small 3pt. side a couple years ago while out stillhunting in Oct.
I keep an eye out for them all the time.

I found a good 5 point shed last season. I had actually repositioned a stand and was about 30 yards from it trying to see what kind of cover it would provide from the deer's point of view. I basically tripped over it! It had been chewed a little by something but is good and heavy at the base.

just took 6 out of the box of my truck and picked up 3-4 more in early sept, about 10 so far thsi fall, going to the big timber for anterless elk on mondya south of em so hopefully find a few elk sheds in there, soem of the land we got permission to hunt has not been hunted in years, rancher just havign problem in the winter with elk and we were the first to stop by!!don't know what i want more a monster elk shed or a cow elk lol!!!
