i have always wanted to go shed hunting down around here there always nice bucks were i hunt i live in michigan when is the best time to go look for sheds were and any tips thanks!

Febuary or March I would say I live in MN and the bucks usually start droppin by then.

Usually up here they start dropping them late December into early January, it all depends on the snow and the temperatures I find. I usually start looking early to Mid January.

as soon as the snow melts really look hard. IT doesn't hurt to start looking in late january though. By looking then you won't find many if you have deep snow, but you will know where the deer are during the time they shed, and therefore know where to focus your efforts in early spring.

in febuary till about may....those are the best times to find them...look along fencelines and look on trail leading from feeding areas to bedding areas..good luck
