    when is the best time to find sheds?

    Yep, as soon as the snow melts, usually in March all the deer should have dropped by then

    it all depends on the area. Here in southern Indiana the best time is around Febuary1st to middle of march.... I look all the time, but never find any.

    Start as early as January to get an idea as to where the deer are bedding and feeding, so when they lose those horns you'll have a better chance of finding them. When March rolls around you can search a more defined area from what you've dicovered. It works for my buddy and me. Give it a try.

    Correct me if I am wrong, the Buck will keep his antlers until he is done breeding, if that is true then northern deer would drop antlers before, say south texas deer. (A MD I work w/ told me the story about breeding... something to do with the hormones
