    Default Fresh pair of 5-pts

A couple weeks ago I posted 2 pictures of a 5 pt buck in the 'photography and video' forum. Well, I've seen him twice in the last few days - without his head gear. So I took a hike this morning to do some searching and, lo and behold, found where he has dropped them. He had bedded under a pine tree and I guess he gave his head a shake when he got up. They were lying about 3 feet apart.

Each side scores just over 55 and they are almost dead even. Unfortunately, I just read the post in the 'shed contest' thread about Canadians not even bothering to pick up anything under 65". So tomorrow I'm going out to throw them back.

Nice find. I saw the photos you posted of that buck. You should have done a "what do you think he would score?" post. Maybe there is still time to do one in the deerhunting forum.

Well since you're throwing them, lob them south to Kansas. I'll enter them in the "U.S." portion of the contest!!
