Nice sheds. Look some here every year and have never found any.
I'll join the never found a shed category
Those are pretty nice. I've never found any but I try to keep my eyes open.
When would be the best time to shed hunt?
For those of you that havent found any, it takes a lot of hard work and perseverance. My father and I go looking every weekend in the spring and late winter, and we spend 10-12 hours walking some days. Even when youre looking for sheds, you can bump into great stand locations, see wildlife, and have a great time in the outdoors in general. Theres more to it than just finding sheds, its having a good time. My father and I sometimes sit down and have a campfire in the middle of the forest in the afternoon while looking. I could easily say I enjoy it more than deer hunting itself. Keep working at it, and at times it takes more hard work than hunting, but its a great time with family and friends in the spring. Dont be afraid to ask questions and get some tips here and there. Theres a lot of experienced shed hunters in these forums.
Nice sheds
WOW!! I have only ever seen deer with two antlers. Never 3! You have a winner there. Good luck next year chasing him down!
Nice sheds. I've found some nice ones over the years but it does take alot of walking and searching at times.
For more advice on shed hunting, don't forget to visit the shed forum on this site! There's a lot of information there .....
Nice, you wouldn't happen to live in Saskatchewan, now would you Harry?
The only sheds I've found is when my Dad's wirehair dog drags them in the yard.
Nice inded
