i was visiting with this guy at a skeet shoot today and we were talking about the elk i shot. everyone is talking about it still cuz me and my buddy went up to the mountains and shot a bull all by our selves. no body even dreamed we would come home with something . but anyways he said he saw a guy at the gas station and there was big long time sticking out of the back of his truck. he walked over there and it was a huge elk shed. the man who found it said he weighed it on a fish scale and it weighed 27 lbs. thats huge!!!!!!! and he found it laying right in the middle of the road. now how lucky is that. if that bull had the same thing on the other side that is about 540 bucks that fell off his head with antler prices being about $10/lb.
