    Default Matching Set

A guy my Dad works with found these about 30 feet apart. The Main beams are almost 30".
What would you guess he'd score?

That's a pretty young deer too, by the looks of it. He's going to be a real wide monster.

Nice set. I'd guess, with an 18" spread, he'd go around 130.

I'd guess a little bit bigger. It's really tough to judge antlers when they are not sitting on a deer's head. Antlers alone always appear smaller than when they are still attached to the head.

If those main beams are close to 30 inches each, I'd guess that with a 20-inch inside spread the set would gross in the low 150's. My exact guess is 154 gross.

Pretty close. I friend taped them and with a 22" spread, got about 150".
Here;s another set the same guy found the year before.

    Thanks,
The g2's in the first pic are 8". Down in the 2nd pic, 11".
Sometimes we don't hunt to far from it. But the guy that found them does I think.
