Buck fawn shedding question

Do buck fawns shed? I see the little bumps on their heads & was wondering what will happen with them.

I thought I read on here that someone found one. I did a search but came up with nothing.

I was under the impression that these were the developing antler bases covered in cartilage and that they are not shed. I could very well be mistaken though.
