    Default Uncooperative sheds

    All the whitetails have been without antlers here for the past month or more now, but the mule deer are still hanging on to theirs. So, when I went looking for sheds today - nice, sunny morning - I hoped to find the occasional whitetail discard. No such luck. The closest I came was a blunder into this mule deer, which took off for parts unknown before I knew of his presence. I guess I'll have to go back to the same area next month.
