whats up was just wondering what you fav slugs are i might tr the lightfield slugs but i like the kos and the rest of there slugs well what would you recomened

My Remington likes the Winchester Magnum rifled slugs 3in. I hot 4in groups at 100yds.

Remington core lokt sabots 2 3/4, My 11-87 with a imp cyl shoots the 2 3/4 federal true ball slugs great.

right now Winchester rifled 20 ga out of my mossberg 500 with a smooth bore barrel havent got a rifled barrel for her yet but will some day

yea i havea mossburg 500 12ga but it has a smooth barrel for it but my ultar sluger is what i use so it has a full rifled barrel on it

I've been shooting the Lightfields since 1998 and like them. They are heavy.

i seen some of them over at dicks sporting goods do they shoot good through a fullrifled barrel

I have a H & R 20 ga. slugger that I shoot Hornady SST's in and you can drive tacks with it. I have not had one get away yet. They do so nasty damage. The main thing is I have found that you get fowling in the barrel from the sabot not only on this gun but on 2 other rifled barrels that I have. You need to run a brush down them after every 6-8 shots or they stsrt to wonder on you a bit. I shot 12 ga. lightfields and the only thing with them is that they are so hard and just punch a hole and don't expand enough. They are accurate but hard. I had a buddy that shot copper solids in his 870 and mine with the same barrel setup wouldn't shot them worth a crap. You deffenitily need to shot some different brands to see what works best. well i will i think i am going to go with the kos agin this year i shot alot of deer with them and only went 20 to 30 yards well thanks guys

Yes. That's what they are designed to shoot through. You can shoot them through a rifled choke tube but the fully rifled barrel is the way to go.

My set up is a remington 870 12 gauge with a hastings rifled barrel and a 2-7x33 Leupold scope.

At 50 yards I can shoot a 3 shot group where they are all in one ragged hole. Thats good enough for me.

Keep in mind they are heavy and they pound you.
