    I dont think you need to strip the finish to get it dipped, not positive though. Most gun shops or large sporting goods store will offer a camo dipping service..most ship it out though.

    Gander Mountain does do dipping. I think a whole gun is around $200.

    Try duracoat they have the best price. Everyone says they do excellent work. I'm getting ready to ship them a shotgun myself.

    You can always sand the rust away and spray paint it. Thats what I did with my goose gun.
