I know I wouldn't be able to shoot sabot with a smooth bore, but does anyone see a no-no with shooting a slug from a 391 if it has a rifled choke on it?

Not that i know of, But i would suggest reading the owners manual before trying it, i think some backbored barrels are a no-no for slugs. Im not shure if the 391 is among that group or not.
It looks to me as long as you get or have a Mobilchoke gun and not an Optimachoke gun you will be ok as you can get the factory rifled tube for the Mobil system. The Optima are longer (no biggie) but thinner. I am not sure if they have the same thread.
