new benelli autoloader

benelli has a new autoloader called the cordoba. looks like a nice scattergun. does anyone have one or have any info on it?

It sure looks like a fine shotgun. It seems to come with everything you would want, like porting, good recoil system, and a variety of chokes I didn't see how much $$ they are going for though.

I thout I saw it was around $2000 or so...not positive though.

Nice gun but I dont like all that synthetic/ rubber crap they put all over them though.

MSRP is $1600. There is one on Auctionarms for $1460. What a bargain.

I'm sitting here looking at the 2005 Benelli Catalog they send me every year.

On pg 14 is the Cordoba. As near as I can tell, it has the same inertia recoil system as all the other Benellis. It has the "ComforTech" recoil pads, the barrel is ported and comes standard with 5 extended crio chokes. The butt pads come in a standard 14 3/8" version, or a shorter 14" version. Benelli claims the ComforTech and ported barrel will reduce barrel climb which will put you back on target 69% faster.

I don't know about all that, but I can tell you I'll never own any other semi-auto other than a Benelli. I love mine.

I think it is going to be an awesome gun. It has the name , the permormance, and to top it all off it is awesome looking!!!
