Rustoleum or Krylon are my preferred methods. Spray the darkest color for a base coat and add lighter colors as you work your way up. Add leaves or stencils for a camo touch.

I use a camo sock on my NEF 10GA Turkey Gun...Works great for me...Even with the break action. I have also tried camo tape and it worked good too. You just have to make sure that once the season is over that you remove the tape and clean the barrel to keep it from oxidizing.
BTW, it is more important to pattern this gun than to have it camoed. I would worry about your pattern first and then the camo second. You owe that much to the game you pursue. Good luck...
Buy a roll of camo tape, and take it off when you're done.
Comppro...AJ suggested spray paint...The colors are yours for the choosing. Add a leaf or stencil at your leisure.

I have used quite abit of Krylon Camouflage paint. If you can find it, that is the way to go. It comes in a variety of colors and is ultra flat, made just for the sportsman.I have used it on guns, bows, and even wood items.
good luck with it !

I have a hard enough time finding my treestands in the pre-dawn hours. I could walk past that thing a few times and never see it. Good job.

I'll have to stop at Wal-Mart to see if they have some of that camo paint...My ladder stand could use it.
