Default OK, AJ need your expertise please. Thanks in Adv.

I bought a Remington 870 Express youth model 20n guage. It has the rifled barrel on it and I want to buy a shotgun barrel for my wife so she can hunt hogs and birds with it. Will a regular 870 20 guage barrel fit on it?

Oh yeah J.B., If I left anything out that AJ needs to know please add it. You know the gun better than I do.

    Thanks guys

Yes, the barrels are interchangeable. The only difference in the Youth model and the standard 870 is the stock, which has a shorter length-of-pull, and generally a shorter barrel.

Great that is what I thought!!!! Just wanted to make sure. I would have felt like an idiot if I had bought it and it had not worked. Guess that would be a good excuse for me to buy a matching 870.
