Does anyone use a 30mm Red Dot scope (no magnification) on there shot guns when hunting upland birds, ducks, or any sort of wing shooting?
I put a Red Dot on my Remington 870 last spring for hunting turkeys and I really though it made the difference in taking 2 jakes at over 30 yards each.
However I always shot clays with a open bead sight.
I hate to remove the Red Dot since its sighted in and dead nuts for turkey hunting, just to bang around after grouse or whatever.
Oh BTW I realize I will have to remove the full choke for this too which is not a concern. No biggy there. LOL
I have not even tried one clay yet, just sitting here at work wondering if I should or not.
Thanks for your opinions...
