    Default Beretta Whitewing

    Anyone have one or know anything about them? Are they top end or lower end guns. Dick's has them on sale for $899.99 and Dad has always wanted an over/under for skeet and maybe a little bird hunting. It looks like a nice gun.

    THe Whitewing is Bereta's low end o/u. They are decent guns that will take a lot of shooting. The Beretta is a small step above the Browning Citori. Mechanically, they are similar. For a hunting gun, the Whitewing is a nice gun. For a target gun when the shooter will fire a few hundred rounds every weekend, its a bit too light. The recoil will noticed a lot more on a light weight gun. For an entry level o/u, its a decent choice.

    I owed one a few years ago and was really happy with it. I only got rid of it during hard times. I wish I never did, but a man has to eat. That is a great price, though. I've seen them at their least expensive at 999.00 and that was on sale. He won't be disappointed with the gun, I guarantee it.
