I would go with the Browning Gold or the Wincherser Super x2. Same gun but with out speed load. I've heard some good about the 935, but more bad. Dosen't cycle light shells but that ain't a problem for goose and turkey loads.

mossberg 835 and the 1187 might be another to look at also you can look at the bennelli or barretta and there are many others you can consider and the camo is looking good on most of the guns out there today

My Beretta has been awsome... I would buy one for sure.
I am receiving a Browning Gold 20 gauge (Slug Gun) for Christmas.![]()
Personally I would stay away from the Mossberg 935. I have not heard a good review about that gun yet. I picked up the 11-87 Super Mag. I love those Remingtons. Will cycle any round you put through it. For your 2 3/4" low brass you just have to add an extra gas seal to the tube, which they supply.
I own Browning shotguns, I would pick the Gold any day of the week. But if I was low on cash, I would also buy the 935 too!!!

Or just buy a Winchester Super X2 and shoot whatever shells you have in your pocket without having to take the gun apart to change pieces.
I LOVE my SX2!!!!!!![]()

I've had it since they first came out. It will shoot and cycle 7/8 oz. "el-junko" low brass as well as it will a 3 1/2" magnum. Oh yeah...........and I have yet to clean the mechanism. It's just a fantastic piece of weaponry.
SX2 is the only gun you will need. I hunt with a lot of guys and see a lot of guns have problems in the field but have only seen one SX2 malfunction so far and that guy treats all his guns rough like thay are 870's. You can't go wrong with the SX2!
11-87
If you want cheap there is a Charles Daly you can get at Wal-Mart for $299. I've heard mixed reviews on them.
Either gun are nice guns just depends what fits you the hunter best.
I would have to say the 11-87 also. i've never had a problem with any of my remingtons. I have heard a lot of bad about the new 935 mossberg. It's a new gun, give it a couple years then it'll probably be better.

I've got an SX2 and I love it but I don't know if you could find one under $700

Shop around. I got mine for under $700. That was a few years back. But I think you could probably still get one for around the same price.
Bought my SX2 last year for $638 out the door. Gun was $650 and had a $50 rebate. Add $38 for tax and there you go.
I love my 11-87 and my new toy browning gold 10 they are both sweet shooting machines. the 11-87 is alot cheaper than the browning gold...well becuz that is a 10. I havent tried any other semi-autos and probably wont
11-87 or 1100
