shotgun scope question

Considering putting a scope on my winchester 1300, it would be used turkeys and possibly also for deer. Question is if the scope was sighted in at say 50 yards for slugs, would it also be pretty close for shooting the turkey loads, or would it have to be adjusted much each spring and fall to compensate for the changes?

That all depends on the barrel. Not all barrels shoot the same point of impact. Its not uncommon to have a shotgun barrel shoot high, left, right, or low. Only testing it on paper will tell you for sure.

Thanks AJ, that is what I figured and of course I would have tested it on paper before ever attempting to hunt with it anyway. Have not shot anything but turkey loads and some heavy target loads from the gun so far. Will try some slugs soon though and see how close my sights are on for them.
