Browning Cynergy Recall

I understand the Browning Cynergy is being recalled. Owners should contact (800)727-4312 for further information.

It turns out, there is a problem with the safety and the gun could fire with the safety on! Anyone that has one, call Browning, they will send you some shipping package in about 10 days. Once they have it, there will be about a 48 hour turn around time. Sounds like about three weeks door to door to me.

Of course this is all covered and should cost you nothing.

I have heard that for your inconvenience, Browning is going to upgrade your recoil pad and give you some kind of knife. How true this is, I don't know.

Thanks AJ. I looked at them alot, and was impressed, but I really wanted a 20 ga. They must have a totally different safety then their other shotguns. A differrent recoil pad I thought that was what they were pushing.

A safety is a mechanical device so it can fail. Who ever treats a gun as if a safty cannot fail is an idiot and needs to retake hunter's ed.
