Did anyone hear this guys speech? He noted that God caused the hurricanes because of us being in Iraq and that God is not happy with the black community. He later said that they need to rebuild New Orleans and that it should be a "choclate community".

I am seriously beginning to think this guy is a racist against cultures other than the black community.

NEW ORLEANS - Mayor Ray Nagin suggested Monday that Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and other storms were a sign that "God is mad at America" and at black communities, too, for tearing themselves apart with violence and political infighting.

"Surely God is mad at America. He sent us hurricane after hurricane after hurricane, and it's destroyed and put stress on this country," Nagin, who is black, said as he and other city leaders marked Martin Luther King Day.

"Surely he doesn't approve of us being in Iraq under false pretenses. But surely he is upset at black America also. We're not taking care of ourselves."

Nagin also promised that New Orleans will be a "chocolate" city again. Many of the city's black neighborhoods were heavily damaged by Katrina.

"It's time for us to come together. It's time for us to rebuild New Orleans -- the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans," the mayor said. "This city will be a majority African American city. It's the way God wants it to be. You can't have New Orleans no other way. It wouldn't be New Orleans."

He was also lamenting all of the black-on-black violence when *surprise, surprise* three people were wounded by shots fired from a mostly black crowd that had gathered for a parade to commemorate ML King Jr's birthday.

You guys should know by now that it's totally acceptable for one black man to call another blackman, anything he likes, and it's not considered racist. That's just the way it is.

Nagin is fighting to get the voting people that actually voted for him (the blacks) back to New Orleans. Right now, only white folks are moving back which can only mean one thing....a white mayor soon to be elected and one more brother filing for wellfare.

If a white mayor said that he wanted his city to only be white, he'd be considered a racist. Hmmmmmmmmm. Funny to me that without the white man's money there'd be not New Orleans Mardi Gras. If you look at the crowds on a girls gone wild video, 99% of the people are white even though the city is a majority black. That's one thing that always cracks me up. If a black man insults the white people that's called Black Pride but if a white man insults black people it's called racism.
