Can you imagine if Rush or some other white man made similar remarks. OH wait. They did. Remember Rush getting fried over the McNabb remark.

Bryant Gumbel is one of the biggest racists out there today. That's why he can't keep a job. I remember at a summer olympics awhile back, I think it was in 1992, there was a story when he was on the Today Show about a lady who collected Olympic pins from all the countries, she had ton's of them, lets just say the lady was rather "large", Bryant, in all his glory remarked, well, it looks like you you have enough room to wear them all. The woman back at the studio got on him hard core, told him that was the most hurtful, ignorant thing she had ever heard him say.

Between Gumbel and Jesse Jackson I dont know who is the bigger idiot. 1 needs to be slapped and I dont even know what to do with Jackson. Its amazing in todays world how black people can be racist but no 1 has the manhood to say anything but the second someone says something about black people thats rascist. I am in no way rascist but in my honest opinion there are 2 types of african american people
1: Ones who are kind and deserve respect
2: Ones who are unkind, disrespectful and think that white people owe them because there familywas enslaved god only knows how many years ago. The way that a good majority of african americans conduct themselves is a direct effect on why this country has become the way it is. 70 some odd percent of all people on welfare are black, but im gonna get called a rascist if I said that in public. But they wouldnt if they called me a kracker or another racial slur. And I know its not just me that gets disgusted by the fact that I can go to jail for saying the N-word but they call cops that and THE COPS SAY IT BACK!!!! What has happened in our community. There are people and groups who started out with good intentions but when will people realize that anybody who is a radical or extremist about anything is usually bad news. My family had someone actually tell them that they should be allowed to hunt our land when they were caught on our clubs land because our ancestors enslaved theres. #1 Blacks sold blacks into labors so you wanna take that one up go deal with your cousins not me #2 English people raped, killed, and took my ancestors land a long time before they messed with yall, am I crying about it NO Im not because it wasnt MY land and they didnt enslave YOU. So If it didnt directly effect you then shutup and deal with it. Its like the bumper sticker on my buddies truck says, if I owe you for enslaving your people then Lincoln owes me for letting my ancestors slaves go. Sorry for the rant, not highjacking the thread but I had a bad day at school that involved a person like Gumbel and I just had to blast someone so why not blast that idiot and see if im crazy or if someone else is on my side.

Did you guys watch Hannity interviewing two black guys (not sure who they were), last night? Both of them agreed that Bryant's comments were uncalled for. One of them even said something to the effect of he wondered whether or not the Superbowl could have been a NAACP convention as far as Bryant Gumps opinion then. Pick the best athlete by their performance, not the color of their skin. I am by no means a racist, but sometimes minorities make race an issue more than I think the people actually do. It gets sickening to hear this come up all the time and makes me want to turn the channel. Can you imagine what would happen if the white people created an "all white tv" channel? I disagree with the fact that it seems anyone can create an "all one race anything", except for a white male. I can't figure it out sometimes I guess.

Tommy, I would do it in a heartbeat. Believe me, I have the "Brass" I wish they would put me on CNN for 5 minuets. But the problem is, the "community" doesn't need someone like me to say it, they need someone like the Pres to say it.

But again, at my level, all I can say is typical, typical AND TYPICAL
