He won’t go away:

I have dealt with religious zealots like one of our posters here for many years and I know that he will not go away.
Why?
Because he thinks he is getting his point across.
His first post attracted 1082 views.
His second attracted 241 views.
It does not matter to him whether he gets any replies or not.
The fact is, he got enough views to make him think he is getting his points “out there.”
However; he really does not want to “reach anyone”.
I truly doubt he even cares about those he thinks are “lost, uninformed, or misguided”, and the furthest from his mind, is getting into an actual debate, or even a conversation with any of us.
He only wants his views out there for people to read.
Every time you click on his post to read it or reply, or see what someone else’s reply was; he wins.
We need to stop feeding him, or he will stick around like an unwanted stray cat.

He does not even have to take the time to type, because he has learned to click>copy>click>paste.
So far he has had not one original post or reply. He is as scripted as Charlie McCarthy, Lamb Chop, or Howdy Doody. But at least they were entertaining.

I totally agree with popgun!! I'm Catholic and was raised Catholic in a small town so you know what my values are like. But....... what really gets my motor running is someone standing on their piast soap box and telling the world what they think!!!! That's nice but keep it to yourself, ya know!! We all know the man above and appreciate him greatly but we don't need to be told to do so. It is a silent understood policy, ya know what I'm saying. Sorry guys, I'll get off of my case of ammo now. (I didn't want to say soapbox, lol).

I don't really see anything wrong with stating your opinion on here. It's is a politics & religion forum, so this is the place for it. But the problem I see is that the term "forum" suggest an intelligent discussion, debate, or even an all out argument. The person in question fails to meet any of those criteria. He's more of a Blog and Flog kinda' guy.

I personally enjoy a good debate, this guy doesn't. Probibly because he really doesn't know enough about the topic to give his own real argument.
