    Default The Rosary

    Anyone else pray the Rosary?

I don't think we have too many Catholics in here, but wanted to share that I pray the Rosary quite often. I find it quite comforting. Prayed it last night in it's entirety, praying for solace when I found that my college prof "awarded" me a B+ when I actually earned an A.

The Rosary is just a series of prayers, namely the Our Father, Glory Be, and Hail Mary. It's a sort of mantra I guess you could say.

I pray the Rosary. I pray it at least once a month plus it is part of every Knights of Columbus meeting I attend. I also try to bring my Rosary with me when I spend my Sundays in a tree stand.

You are correct that the Rosary is very comforting.

I just try my best to be open and honest with God in prayer and pray from the heart.

I don't pray the Rosary. I just talk to God like just the friend that He is to me.

I like to consider my prayer time a conversation with God, a relationship. There is nothing structured about it. btw, never heard of the Rosary Prayer.

Pray how you choose Chris. If the Rosary comforts you, well then, it sounds like a fine thing to do. Whether some may consider that "structured" or not open enough shouldn't even be brought up in this thread.

btw- My Mother prays the Rosary every morning and every night, the good Irish Catholic woman she is.
