Sunrise service?

Going to my first one this Sunday. We are visiting my parents in Alabama and going with them. You guys ever been to one???

Yep. Been to a bunch of them. Looks like I'll be sitting it out this Sunday, though. Gonna be about 20 degrees and snowing at sunrise.

BTW - No sunrise service for me this year. Weathermen are calling for 31* and light freezing rain Sunday morning.

We usually have to dress up for it here...............long johns, hooded sweatshirts and toboggan hats along with your deer hunting or waterfowling overcoat.

I've been to one before...it was great. Can't make it this year because coordinating the whole family to be there by 6:30 just isn't possible.

I usually wear a polo shirt and khakis to church...am wearing a suit on Easter though. I'm not sure why...but I'm going to. lol

I have been the last couple of years. I enjoy the sunrise service but for some reason our church opted out of doing one this year. I guess it all worked out since it's suppose to be 28 degrees Sunday morning. I probably would have opted out myself!

Our church doesn't have a sunrise service but we actually considered going to the sunrise service in DC but decided against it b/c we have some family going with us. Maybe another year!
