Notice how it was put in with smiley faces and Orlan posts with angry faces? Something tells me that the ones upset are usually that way most of the time. I guess you figure that if you have no expectations, there's no way of being let down. I saw a bumper sticker that pretty much summed it up: Athiest's... you only hope you're right!

I am far from being angry all the time! You don't have any clue as to how I lead my life and what I do! There you go, judging people again! I didn't think that you were allowed to "judge" people! Supposedly, only God does that! But then this is one of the big problems with the religious bigots!!!

i agree and disagree with orlan here.

yes, this post should be in the religious room. it is not forum material.

i most certainly disagree about the false advertising and phony promises. but that's just me.

Martin, let me be the first to apologize to you. I appreciate you posting something like this, it was really touching. Needed in our forum and in our world. There are alot of people who are dying and going to **** on a daily basis, and we need to spread the word as much as we can.

Threads like this and reactions to them really break my heart! Maybe I am just a big softy, or maybe my heart has been trampled on this week with the tragedies that my family has faced. Either way, Martin, again, I am truly sorry for your threads reaction.

Let me be the second. It didn't surprise me at all, but it definitely breaks my heart.
Some people hate Christianity so badly, calling us bigots and self-righteous radicals, and yet, are real quick to point out there own rightness, or righteousness, that they figure is good enough to get them through, "If indeed, there is a God" (in their words, not mine).

Jesus said, "There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death."

If only they knew and could understand, that Jesus died for them too.

Jesus did warn us we would be persecuted because of Him..some people will not accept Truth..Im sorry some react like this, but I just spent 4 days with a non-beleiver,The Bible does say not to cast our pearls before swine.. I did mistakenly post the thread in the wrong room..(I apologize),however..some that would NOT have gone into the religion room did get to see it..

Now that you have heard the truth..and reject Jesus..you are going to be judged more severely than someone who never heard.

Exactly what I was thinking Martin! The Bible teaches us that nothing EVER happens by accident! There was a purpose for it to be mistaken and placed in that room. Some may not agree with me, and that is o.k. But it was placed in there for a reason beyond you and me, and hopefully a little seed was planted in hearts that really need to hear the truth!

I have seen posts that would be more appropriately posted in the bowhiunting forum in the lounge, pics that should probably been posted in the pic room than the lounge, etc etc etc, but boy- let a terrifying post like this one get stuck in the lounge & theres an uproar???? God forbid that a non Christian would have to lay eyes on it???? Maybe its time to for Christians to stand up & quit catering to some & just pray for them???

Since i am new here i hope that my question is not taboo but was wondering what ojr believes? I am a christian and try my best not too judge . I am not trying to attack or offend anybody just trying to satisfy my own curiosity.
