2005 Mathews!

Two of Mathews new bows have been released, the Switchback and Conquest Apex. More to come at the ATA show.

The switchback looks pretty decent. The cam looks awefully weird, similar to the Icon's cam. But, from the sounds of it, it is a ROCKET! Just a faster Outback I guess. I'll definately give the Switchback a whirl!

The Conquest Apex is the third installment of the Conquest series, it's a target bow. It must be REALLY impressive, since it costs over $1200! There will probably be two more at the ATA show. Don't know what they will be though. I read your other post Ryan. I know you like this one!

Make that the 4th There is Conquest, ConquestII, ConquestIII.....now this thing?? I don't like the small idler wheel. I dunno about the cam on that Switchback either.....looks like it will be real soft. Looking forward to the other 2 new bows.

Thats right, it is the 4th. I was thinking of the BlackMax. NO WAY would I shoot the Conquest Apex, let alone pay that kind of money for it. I'd shoot JB's WarTec or even the TurboTec before that one.

I'm sure the Switchback is nice, but I think I'd go with the Outback over the Switchback.

I don't like the cam to be that "round." It is very similar to the Icon's cam. I looks like it would have a real spongy feeling to it. I like the Cam & 1/2's draw. Starts pretty stout and then drops back and LOCKS real hard.

Get the VTEC! I think i have decided on that one! Im still not sure but the VTEC sounds pretty awesoome!

I might stay with the X if nothing really blows it away. Just new string, arrows and modules.
