Default Mathews has two winners coming out

    Apex for tournament guys

    Switchback for hunters.

Garantee they will sell plenty of these. Talk to one of my pro staff friends that has shot them both. He asy the switchback is fast and smoother than the Legacy.

Apex cam is designed for speed and smoothness.
Bow has straight risor and should be sweet shooter.

    I'm almost there too Josh!

The Switchback is shorter like the Outback (but not as short) and even faster (with a longer brace height) than the LX. The best of both worlds! I can't wait to shoot the Switchback and the Outback, it'll probably be one of those two, unless the VTEC really knocks my socks off.

Hey JB, what happened with you and Mathews?? Back when you was Chicken Checker you were all hot over your Mathews wqith the phallic stabilizer with the orange tip.

    Bad experience??

JB...you used to be Chicken Checker?! I wondered where that guy went! LOL!

Here are the pictures and specs.

    2005 Mathews Switchback

You get the fastest, smoothest performance ever out of a Mathews bow with a comfortable 7-inch brace height. Switchback delivers the best overall bow dynamics weve ever achieved. Our smoothest shooter yet!

With dual perimeter weights, the new Straightline Cobra Cam strikes with speed and stealth. Fast like LX, smooth like Outback... deadly.

The leader in vibration-canceling performance, Mathews takes another step higher with two harmonic dampers built into the Roller Guard!

Switchback is available in Realtree Hardwoods HD camo only.

The Switchback also comes equipped with the new Zebra Barracuda Premium Bowstring.

    2005 Mathews Conquest Apex

The Conquest Apex is built in the proven tradition of previous Conquest models, which have been responsible for more professional tournament victories than any other bow in history!

Historically, deflex riser designs offered forgiving shooting characteristics, but at the cost of speed. Not anymore! The new Apex deflex riser on the Conquest Apex represents another Mathews engineering breakthrough giving you an 8-inch brace height and 310 (approx.) fps (IBO)!

The Conquest Apex features a machined, built-in Integral Grip that gives you a narrow grip area that looks good, feels great and minimizes bow hand torque.

The Conquest Apex has 10 new "cant miss" color schemes: Lizard Green, Outrageous Orange, Ballistic Blue, Bold Liquid Gold, Piercing Purple, Dark Shark Red, Black Out Blue, Midnight Maroon, Allegiance, and Bulls Eye Black.

The Conquest Apex also comes equipped with the new Zebra Barracuda Premium Bowstring.

That Switchback has dimensions very simular to the Diablo I traded in (big mistake).

If it shoots even close to as nice as that Diablo I'll definately own a Switchback by springtime.

What might make me go to a more compact (short) bow like that is the riser length. It's as long or longer than most 36" bow's risers.

Now with brace heigth and axle to axle. This bow will be very poular.

Ah ha! So...it's lovely? I ALWAYS put a stabilizer on my bow. Sometimes my head just rattles at the folks who don't.

How was the wall on it Tony? That is really the only question I have about that cam.
