Found out that I was ranked 1st in the state in our amateur standings. Guess pacing top 3 in the shoots helps a lot, lol.
My buddy tells me this weekend that I was in the paper and he has the article, which he's going to frame and hang in his shop. He says he feels responsible for my success over the past couple years, LMAO. You have to know this guy.
Now I guess it's time to get ready for another year and some tough competition.
Already shot one round at the club and for the first outing in 4 months and with a new bow I started out better then I usually do after such a long break. Shot a 260 with a couple botched shots due to hitting my coat sleeve, but I was smokin when it came to the Steel Buck. Had to put an arrow bwtween 2 trees 4" apart and not hit the steel of the target (vitals are foam), so if you flinch you hit a tree and if you miss the yardage you crank the steel.......I pinwheeled it for a perfect 20. I love this sport.
