    Looks awesome!!!! The eyes look REALLY good IMO, but I am not exactly sure whay I'm looking for. It looks very realistic though!!!!

    Are you a taxidermist, or just a doityourselfer? Looks great!!

    One more ??......did you go to school, or learn from videos/books?

    I know you get asked questions like this all the time, and it seems like everyone "wants to be a taxidermist," but I seriously have been thinking for the past 2-3 years about doing my own heads, just because it doesn't seem like you can trust anybody anymore.

    You have any pics handy of your first mount? I am scare to try mounting my first one, because I know the first always turns out the worst. I mounted a squirrel about 2 years ago....looks like a squirrel from a few feet away, but you can see the mistakes once you really look at it....Thanks buddy....

    Cool I agree, RTF is da man!! You should have seen all the step-by-step instructions he posted for my when I did the squirrel (with pics!!!!) I never had to buy a book or anything......RTF, tell Scott I said you deserve a pay raise.

    Muzzleloadernut, your mount looks good and your on the right track. May I suggest that when installing your speed septums in future mounts to turn your veins on your septum to the inside. When installed this way the veins face each other inside the nasal cavity and can be seen when a light is shined inside.
    This is the correct way to install a speed septum. Its no biggie and no one would probably even notice, all in all you did a great job!
