European mount ideas!

With the skull of a buck I found I want to do a really neat european mount with it. I just thought I would get some ideas from you guys, see what you think would look kind of neat. Thanks guys!

Use some old rusty barbwire and wire it to an old weathered fence post. Cut the top of the post at an angle, so the skull is downward facing some. You could also put some weathered wood on top of the post instead too. Post pics!!

I am going to build a pedestal base out of cherry (darkens with age) and put my 9 pointer on it.

I have an idea, maybe. I thought about making a nice wooden base and put a fence post with barb wire around it and stuff. And then leaves and grass around it. Any others add ons or ideas??
