I shot a 9pt in the neck and was wondering if I mounted it could they fix that hole.
Shot with what? My dad nailed one with a 30-06 in the neck and all you can see is a few cut hairs. If it was a big slug hole that might be harder, but i imagine it can be done well.
The only thing that will show will be the where the hair is missing. Holes are not a problem. Bullet holes that is.
with a good taxidermist they can sew the hole up and you would never know that it was there. my dad had two deer on the wall and they both were shot in the neck and you can not even tell that they were shot in the neck.
I just brought a deer to the taxidermist that i shot with a slug, quartering too me. Hit him right inside his shoulder, up a bit high. The hole looked to be almost tennis ball size, and the taxidermist said no problem.
They fixed mine! Couldn't even see it.![]()
