    Default ? on tanning badgers!

I have a few peopel who want me to get them a badger tanned and seeing the prices were not great last year I am going to try a few of them! I have one in the freezer now that I skinned out perfect right down to the feet and cut the feet off and left them on the hide for now, what I am wonderign is how do you skin around to keep the pads and claws intact?
Once I do that I do know how to flesh them right and all that but also would really appreciate and suggestions on a soft tan that will keep the hide soft yet tan it properly!
Thanks alot really appreciate any help!!!
