nitescapes, most commercial open mouth mounts are usually done in the flahmen{sp} pose posted by buckee. You can however alter any form in any position to an open mouth mount. My advice to you would be to go and look at what your taxidermist has to offer. CHOOSE YOUR TAXIDERMIST WISLEY!
Whatever you do dont price shop, especially for an open mouth mount. Its been my experience that most commercial open mouths either look great or
they look like crap. Also expect to pay 100 to 200 more than a standard closed mouth commercial mount. If money is no object and you find the right taxi, see if he {or she} will do you a compitition OM mount. Good luck, AW.
