Try pushing on them to set them. It's possible they are lifting. If not I would say you can remove them now. Your taxidermist should have use some sort of glue and the pins where just used to keep the hide against the form after it was mounted. Are you loosing the hair off of the deer heads ? Thats a possibility also.
