Question on my mounts

I recently remolded our kitchen, ripping all of the old plaster and lathe out and new sheetrocking. Created a lot of dust. My question is, how can I clean my mounts without doing any damage. I have heard horror stories and I don't want to ruin my prize possessions. Thanks for your help in advance.

What kind of mounts are they, deer, turkey, pheasant?

They are deer, we covered the doorways with plastics but the dust still got through. I dont know if a vacuum would be a good idea.

I would take a damp cloth and gently wipe off the dust, just follow the direction of the hair and you will be fine. Dont rub the finished areas with the cloth {nose, around the eyes}. If you need to clean the eyes or the finished areas I would call whoever did the mount{s} and ask for advice .

I am thinking that compressed air in a can. Should blow all the dust off, shouldn't it?

I use a pair of my wifes panty hose with hairspray sprayed on it. Works well for me!

So wiggs, I thought the panty hose would keep the hair down on your legs. Why do you need hair spray too ?
